A minute of your time
That’s all you asked
To solve the ache
That dwells inside
I tried to forget
The old fashion way
But when you left a gift
A gift of flowers
I knew I was wrapped in denial
You got me to forgive you
You pleaded stupidity
I surrendered naive
We were happy
Then the cursed day arrived
You left without warning
Three months gone by
Nothing but a tainted apology
In black cursive writing
Last time
Was the last time
Without your touch
Without your voice
Wrapped in your empty promises
Now your tortured game continues
Though I saved that letter
And those tiny flowers
Dried and scented
A waiting to be mixed
With words and candle light
Magic will complete
This circle words you weave
With rhyme and my tears
The Goddess deity will
Release your black magic whip
That’s bound me in repetition
This time
Is the last
