Aching.......
Sitting here alone
swallowed whole by silence
wondering to myself
why love hurts so much!
Missing.........
Peering out the window
in hopes he'll return home today
aching so badly
not knowing for sure, pains me so!
Waiting.........
Now lying alone in bed
seeing him only in my dreams
should I stay awake
would he come lay beside me?
Wishing.........
I cling still
to the rose he gave me last
teasing my lips
soft petals remind me of his kiss.
