having it all

the land awakens
in her open palm
as the cool March winds
yawn across her skin ~

the hillside beckons
with its dew-pearled design
and she moves
into another state of mind ~

it's the blue bird on the wing,
the petals on the breeze
she's in her heaven -

filled with the universe

Author notes

Like a tree laden with ripe fruits bends naturally, so do gentle people display all the more humility when blessed with abundance.

peacefulness and grace radiate from this wonderful verse that you have offered us in response to the prompt ...

I love the way you took the quote even further, or rather deeper, in showing us that humility is not a quality of a "personality", a "somebody", who still considers him/herself separated from others and the universe, but a natural "side-effect" of one who has become "nobody", "no-thing", and in this way everything ...

no dreamful fantasies but the realization of all that one has ever dreamt of and wished for being already present here and now, in the vast space of within-ness, and consequently seen "outside" as well ...

inner beauty dwelling in the majesty of nature, inner peace in nature's quietness, inner love in nature's perfect unfolding ...

the gentleness and simplicity of this verse is truly a joy to inhale and become one with ... it can only spring from a pure and innocent heart ... and this heart shows us the way towards our own pure and innocent hearts ...

    what a joy ...
    thank you,

    marion
