Inside This Tender Moment

Missing image

Drenched

by the presence

of Love's perfection,

hands & mouths follow

the path of Truth

towards Salvation,

discovering far more

than mythology allows ~

do they even notice the pouring rain?

Wrapped within

their own cocoon of warmth,

wings folded within wings,

they are oblivious

to all that surrounds them

inside this tender moment.

Silence abounds.

How precious,

these sparks of Love

kindled between two souls,

seeking dream's fruition.

They would give up

everything this world offers

only to remain

embraced

by this illumination,

this glimpse of Infinity.

They sway softly,

slow~dancing

to molten music

their hearts create together,

a pulsating rhythm

only they can hear,

lost & found

in each other's eyes...

They sway softly, slow~dancing to molten music their hearts create together, a pulsating rhythm
only they can hear, lost & found in each other's eyes...

The energy drawn from the pulsating rhythm seems to translate into sentiments for all able to key into love's fountain

How strong the song of the heart is seeking it's voice in the history of 'forever'! Unchained melodies, the light of living.... Love is the Dance.

And it always knows its own!

I really enjoyed this write.. It reminds me of when I met my husband. and we hugged for the 1st time. It was like the world just melted away, and we were the only ones around. it was touching reading my feelings in this write!

lines six and seven .. this unutterably lovely and romantic poem is worthy of being read after any sunset has begun to color and before any dawn begins to brighten beyond its own desires ... the moon is a jealous lover, you know and kisses and hugs and lovely interludes are its entire purpose for teasing the sun away ... ya know?

that is where your poem took me. I love this poem. It is so lovely.

Thank you, my always discerning Friend. I'm glad you liked my lil' tribute. Love is the ONLY thing, Scribe...'tis the reason we were put here on earth...to find it, to share it, to feel its power, knowledge, joy & harmony. It's the only thing we may take with us when we go & the only thing we may leave behind. I recently made up a quotation about it & put it on my author's page, too...
