A way to release the noose around my neck
I could not find it

Through the clouds
Through the fog
Through the shroud over my eyes
I saw an angel and I broke down
My angel guides me through my pain
Aides me in me hour of need
Listens to me when I am sad
Protects me from the world
Wrapped up in that embrace
Nothing else feels so safe
When my angel whispers in my ear
I am stripped naked
He knows what I’m thinking
He knows what to say and what to do
He knows when I need to be saved
