Dedicated for My Grandma Fronzee Deihm
Grandmas time on earth has been so short for me
Looking on down on the coffin at my grandmas face
Its so sad that shes gone I want to cry
I know everyone dies but it just didnt feel like her time
I will always remember the times we've shared
When I was little she did my hair in pigtails
She loved me and cherished me
It made me feel like a little princess all my life
As I read my poem for my grandma you'll see my tears
Grandmas death is my biggest fear
Why did god take her from me so soon?
He must've seen all the pain shes been through
He only takes the best so thats why my grandmas
now at rest!
You shall rest in peace one day
I love you grandma

I am sorry that you had to go through such a loss.
I liked how you expressed your depression about this, and then you coupled that with a brighter outlook. My favorite line from this is, "He only takes the best so thats why my grandmas now at rest!" That is a VERY positive way of looking at such an event. :-)

This poem was very touching. Both of my grandmothers died before I was born, I have no idea what it feels like to have one. However, your poem made me think what I had missed. Very toucing indeed! How could anyone change anything, your feelings are unchangeable....! Good Job..
