Poetry will become the hieroglyphics of tommorrow.
The children who cannot read them
will become the slaves of a modern Osiris.
and the cities who forget the words
will become the pillaged tombs of Egypt.

and the cities who forget the words
will become the pillaged tombs of Egypt.

nice and profound
reminds me a lot of the poem "Ozymandias" by Percy Shelley
similar subject -
Nice succinct poem.
A good Idea, that rare area, that could be progressed by exstention. open up your thoughts to this clearly defined message, a modern problem dealt with in this adaption of the antique world, deserves further work. But still thrilled by the basic idea.

succint and profound. well done. kinda has that Illuminati feel to it. dig it.

Wow. This is a pretty cool little poem that you have going on here.
I like the fact that it was had a new year, a new beginning kind of feel and it's only the first week in January. I know it's supposed to be kind of dark but I think it was really cool the way you compared the past with the present. I thought it sounded pretty right on. You did a good job of expressing yourself here.

YESSA!
Todays knowledge will be tomorrows quest for insight.
This gave me brand new thoughts to ponder.
This was awesome, loved it. -
I get it
You are right, you know.
Everything of today is the past of tomorrow, but, really, isn't today tomorrow?
So isn't everything in the future just the past at that?
Maybe it isn't something we aren't supposed to understand, I don't know, but maybe there is no reason to understand it? Maybe we are supposed to wonder about it for a reason, but I don't think it is right to let everything go so forgotten and lost, like you said, today's "poems" are tomorrows hieroglyphics, but maybe it is more than that, maybe really, maybe everything is nothing...
I don't know..
