The Way seemed to have lost His path,
nailed to a rugged cross.
Becoming subject to God's wrath,
the Seeker became lost.
The Truth chose to take the lie.
becoming the loneliest Man.
His own relieved with a grateful sigh,
to praise the great I Am.
Life took on a treacherous death,
not losing the lively spark.
Everything became nothing;
the Light fell in the dark.
Righteousness became deadly sin,
having left the highest throne.
He had lost that we would win,
we who are the earth's disowned.
Fathering children of Righteousness,
His glory's found in simple men.
Returning to life, He's addressed,
that He is God's Amen.
