The world's a stage they often say,and yet they all forget,
To look behind the masks of life, the costumes and the set.
Let not your thoughts be fooled by what your eyes at first perceive,
All sights should carefully be passed through reason's sightless sieve.
Then filter it again before you judge the things you see,
Or life shall always be for you a play of secrecy.
The sweetest fruits have skins to peel, the night's by darkness veiled,
A tree may hide within a seed, as hearts in chests are jailed.
So learn to pierce the curtains that hide all the things backstage,
Where walls obstruct the scenes you seek, let wit's sheer strength engage.

It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see

Words of Wisdom
this piece is a work of art that captures my heart
Short and to the piont about what the eyes, heart and mind see
"Or you shall never find the truths that wisdom's pillars be."
your last line grabs me and will always saty in my heart and mind
Thank you for sharing
