Inseparable lovers, the Light and the Dark
interwoven in a passionate dance.
Of sunlight off the morning face
hastily buried in preference of pillow,
A contest as to who shall conquer
The moon's pitted face..
But behind the jolly masquerade
Is an ongoing, tense challenge --
Whose love is the strongest ?
And Darkness, she wins by a
hand's breadth.She could not
exist were it not for Light.

This is a beautiful penning here. "The moon's pitted face..." Now that my dear is pure poetry. I love it in it's entirety...I've read it over like six times now! I do not find many pieces that I become enthralled in, yet this, this is definitely one of them. Thank you for that, and I'm glad you liked my poem Sexual healing.
Much love and serenity bestowed to you,
Ocean.

It is particularly satisfying seeing as you write so beautifully, yourself.

Thank you for reading and commenting on my poem.
Beautifully woven masterpiece of imagery and love. Few poets can pen an abstrace poem that expresses emotion as well as this poem does. Well done!
Love,
Amera♥

It's easier to be creative with poetry than gratitude, it seems. So I'll just stick with 'Thank you!!'

What an intense merging of two opposing but coexisting forces. Beautifully written. -

Thank you!
I can't take credit for the idea, though.I loved the title of the contest, and it just went from there
