Sometimes

Do  you think of me sometimes?

Ever

Do you miss the taste of my kiss
The total despair; the utter bliss?
The trembling deep beneath my skin
The angel within?

Do you ever dream of my face?
The one once bowed in painful disgrace?
Do you remember the sound of my sighs
Or the sin in my eyes?

Do I leave furrows of hurt in your dreams?
Tainted with embers of my torn apart seams
Do I paint your memories all sullen, and blue
When I remember you?

I’ll never forget you, never forgive
The hurt that we birthed, the life that we’ve lived
I’ll never be innocent of all of my crimes…
And yes, I do,
Think of you sometimes

And the thoughts often drown us, don't they?

Why can't we just hit delete on the past and be done with it? Ahhh, because we are women and we aren't made to forget.

This is beautiful, as all your work is. So true from my heart that I still think we are somehow one,lol...What a bad ass bitch we would be~
    Love you,

I really like your very truthful imagery and the letting go of the victim role ... it takes two to dance. it takes much daring to see how we perpetuate these conditions and acknowledge this.
    thanks.
