Shards of abandon
trickle,
in heavy molassis flow
across this skin
of self disgust.
Taste of silken lies
mingled with words of honey
slide across satin sheets
of lust.
The coffee is mellow today
as last night
dissolves in blissful ripples
across this tongue
of fluid bitterness.

I love the mix of sweet and sour in the first stanza - the reckless abandon mixed with the thought of morning
the ending bitterness of the coffee was my favourite part and really packs a punch!

I don't think there's a smiley for speechless, but this is how this left me.
Wonderful words.

You took the prompt and gave it one hell of a twist,
and pulled it off quite smoothly too,
once again, all the best to you in the contest
