Hairless Jacket

tranquil in the washing of lustrous form,
velvety in sensual hide to core.
water runs in patterns in ample parchment,
for to none and oh is none to late to say?
bare as the babe in first breath of life,
I to do sing my songs in births uniform.
integument bathed in essences of oil
rich in the dew of earth and air.
the petals of such a plush youth are seen,
yet it is age of man do wish to crush
the flower in bloom upon most in spring.
cut it's beauty and bottle it for the
maid, crone, and mother in a winter brew.
innocent we are to the need of nature
for it is the prime of days we try to keep.
run my hand over well feed surface
inside and out you cannot deign its perfection.
hairless is my jacket for it is my obsession.

This is a beautiful poem - I really like the way it seems to writhe sensually on the page and in my mind well done on a wonderful take on the prompt.

The smoothness to which you refer is definitely one of the delights of life!

The poetry teases and squeezes meaning from words that revel in the chance to play a new game for a while.

I love the sound and the coy phrasing, now can I come over there and check the moothness in person?
