How Many Poets Does It Take to Change A Lightbulb?

One to add the starlight

From nature's time and space;

One to add some hellfire

From a devilish kind of place;

One to capture the brilliant hues

Of sunset's glowing dusk;

One to find the dawn's dim light

Scented slightly with his musk;

One to place the sun's bright glare

And set the daylight free---

And one to find the inner light

That lives inside of me.

    Beautifully written. I loved how we transitioned from the light bulb to the very soul of the poet.

    A wonderful read.
