Walls To Break

It’s a cold windy night
Shattered with glorious rain.
Moon’s up high waving goodnight
To all the sparkling stars.

Every day’s sunshine writes another story,
Whose lips tenderly kiss each burning face
With lovely concern, reminding so to keep on
Smiling, even when it’s grey.

While, in other moments, romance toasts, with wine and fine glass.
Ivory tiles are run over by professed dances,
Leaving reckless dirt and dropping
Autumn’s leaf on the threshold of its bienvenue.

Each cloud symbolizing a new dawn,
Embracing each other’s touch in favorable concern;
A bracelet shown to decipher the truest intentions;
Her lover’s cap is snatched and conserved for memories.

Under delighted rainy nights,
She savors each young and tender moment,
Holding tightly what he left behind, never letting go;
Unforgettable night, remarkable love.

Ink begins to spill from her sadden eyes;
Her unwilling obligation to say goodbye,
To make all memories splatter against the barriers
He learned and forged to build.

Author notes

Well I honestly don't know were it came from.. I know it's a bit sucky but it was what I could come up with...
I used all the words except bear. Couldn't find a proper sentence for it...
hope you like!

  • Nice job on this. It is a melancholy poem. I enjoye it as it is. My favorite lines are:

    Leaving reckless dirt and dropping
    Autumn’s leaf on the threshold of its bienvenue.

    Very nice.
