the new democratic national anthem

(sung to the tune of the Soviet national anthem)

Unbreakable party of spoiled-rotten rich kids,
intellectual snobs and idealistic twits.
we don't really know where to stand on the issues.
when Republicans talk, we just fly into fits.

(CHORUS)
the democratic party, force of indecisiveness.
we don't want to offend our special interests.
everybody's a minority, we must treat with sensitivity.
we want you to like us, we're doing our best.

we keep getting votes, though we don't have a program.
we just say that we'll do what the other guys won't.
we are the driving force behind political correctness.
if you don't have something nice to tell us, then don't!

(CHORUS)

what gets us elected is good for the country
that is, until somebody changes our minds.
the jackass, our logo, has more sense than we do.
we'll keep ducking issues, time after time.

(CHORUS)

I really don't adhere to either party, as I feel they are all puppets, and this last election was which was the worse devil.I listened to Tony Blair being interviewed the other night and he wouldn't even answer any questions. Just talked around them. Reminded me of Bush! Anyhoo. I enjoyed your point of view and liked how you linked it to the Russian National Anthem! Bravo. Linda

Christian?? Wouldn't that violate a basic principle, the separation of church and state?

How about the muslim blue party?

I have to say that this was a rather clever poem. I've been, for a while, trying to figure out something like this, but to no avail... and now it doesn't matter anymore. This is good enough for me. I hate the fact that these damn liberals complain about everything...throwing the race card- it drives me insane. I had to go out and bust a few protesting hippies heads in... "You have the freedom to protest because we fight wars for ungrateful bastards like you! Would you rather be speaking English or German? Salute a flag or a fuhrer?"

Keep up the good fight; it's all we have left...

haha! very funny. And true in alot of ways. Although, you could apply that to any party. Politics is politics, and politicians will always be a breed of their own. Can you actually sing the soviet national anthem? Ironic you would choose that melody.

    Nice polemical poem.

Do you really believe the Democrats are intellectuals instead of the republicans? Thats an interesting change.

Democrats aren't real liberals (classical ones) and Republicans aren't real conservatives (they're Globalists), and I believe the fault for Americans is their inability to care enough about nationalism to for A Christian-Green Conservative Third Party.

LMAO!!! To the tune of the USSR anthem, no less. Aye yay yay...true, you aren't just mean to conservatives; liberals are just as bad, in your book. Well, I consider myself...hmmm, in neither party, so I'm okay with both disses. I think you should make fun of independent parties next, particularly the well-known ones made up of rich bastards who have no chance in Hell of winning the Presidential election, but do it anyways.

actually, i dont belong to either party. the democrats are a bunch of wishy-washy morons who dont have a clue what they stand for, and the republicans use their phony patriotism to hide the fact that they are only servants of the military-industrial complex.

I am so proud of you. There are not to many people truly open-minded enough to pick on their own side. I assume this is your side?
