Nature's Elements

Missing image

Nature’s Elements~

Beauty bestows within a spin,

soft winds whirl a whispering sigh

as human eyes are hypnotized,

this weaver traces on a whim.

Cradle lightly, my soul in leaf,

spiritual shelter's where I roam

webs divine, between split twigs sown,

still faithless fear their unbelief.

Breath's desire of nature's plea,

slowly inspired from heaven,

once again, you cleanse my soul's sin.

Gracefully...

A glistening gift to ponder and to relate closely to life's crossroads of faith and disillusionment.
"webs divine, between split twigs sown,
still faithless fear their unbelief" really captured me and focuses the principal of the write.
Finding those connecting lines between all that has failed you is difficult at best, impossible in the dark nights. Webs hold such strong meaning for me. I adore their use here as metaphor to faith and the rhyming form echoes their beautiful patterns well. Blue

  • Very nice take on the prompt! You didn't go into much detail but in this case it worked out well and maybe better because the subject that causes the "faithless [to] fear unbelief" is left for the reader to decide. Brava! Great work (as usual)!
