I've been studying Herbalism and there's an amazing plant God gave us called Comfrey (or Knitbone).

I use it a lot to make ointment and drink it as tea. I'm growing some in my garden.

It's like a message from God because it splits cells so renews and heals bone and tissue. It's healing my back rapidly, has healed a friend's slipped disc, is healing my ingrowing toenail and more.

God can make us new, even our bodies!

    A moving write.

    Peace Georgia

This is the cold breath of reality. I work for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Anchorage where I see all sorts of burn patients almost every day.

I am a military veteran myself but with little wrong with me, other than I'm a bit crazy, but I do sympathize with these words which touched me.

    Sincerely,
    MJ.

hi whoochi long time no see my friend, this is a sad write that touches me deeply, keep up the good work and remember when somethings get broken beyond repair the best thing to do is to start afresh and build up a new one, this applies to most things in life including our lifes

Oft times the past has a way of remaining present, haunting our need to find joy in the midst of sorrow. I read a scripture in Ecclesiastics that said we grow stronger because of our sorrows. I know within my heart that you have overcome some high mountains. Keep moving forward dear heart. Only look back and realize from whence you came.

Excellent work with such few words. I was missing you dear lady! Glad to see you back, and writing.

    Always ♥

    Hey Whoochi..

I am so glad to visit you just now...
I see the scars, I feel the despair...
but we are only getting stronger and stronger everytime we remove the dust wit a tissue from our tears...
    ... we nurses are strong...
    filled with emotions but strong...

Hope your 2009 will be filled with love, love and more love

"Scar tissue/covers hollow soul" I know the sound of empty on a black hole night. But as deep as the pain of the past and how it runs against your soul like a bad skin graph, the soul is never empty nor without the Light within it. We sometimes can not hear it over the sound of our own pain.

"no light permited/darkness prevails" first, technical note: mildly redundant, second, personal note: the darkness always prevails from the outside when we cut ourselves away from all that love us. But the darkness is only noticible because of the Light that waits to be seen within. How else do you think you have survived all of your struggles or holding up at all with the one you are in.

"dust for tears/fixed face/displays deep dispair" Oh the space where pain seems to win and all you have is the body your in and it is numb, beyond all that you might desire for safety. Still you wear a face that says i am beyond saving. So it is still a flag waving saying I am here. I know. You know, and so does the Higher Power who waits for us to take ownership of our lives and accept that we must feel grief if we are to enjoy a laugh.

"broken beyond repair" who says? Oh, you do. But, I know, from to many moments, that we will repair unless we refuse to when it is any emotional pain. I would of course help you up if you fell down, hold you if you needed arms around, but I also will sit you on both feet and tell you to do what you need, no enabling.

True gifts multiply in the sharing. You have so many and have touched all of deeply. If this poem is a visit to a past moment then I am glad you got pass. If this is a reflection of the present, then, this too shall pass. Regardless, I hold you in my heart. You have my prayers. You also have my support in everything you do. I will always help in anyway I can.

    Love, Tom B.

    Wow,

I'm so sad when my friends are sad, and know that you are not alone, you have so many that adore you on ap, as well as so many that have been through painful pathways of deep despair.. I for one feel this way often..but many say I have no reason..But sometimes you can feel alone in a crowded room, and darkness when the lights are on. I hope you pull through, I'm pulling for ya. Peace one can only pray...
