blood an guts are flying around
a head rolls by leaving a trail of innards on the ground
armed with a gun, always on the run
dark and dreary, thrilling and scary
a zombie movie fest can beat the rest
when watched on christmas
with your family, be blessed.
i wonder what we'll do for easter this spring
seeing as how jesus came back from the grave
perhaps have another zombie movie fling.
or maybe have a zombie jesus easter rave.

my family really did watch zombie movies on christmas. we had three zombie movies and a monster movie, and a LOT of junk food. it was fun.

the last stanza reminded me of a poem i wrote for a friend a year or so ago... even though it was extremely blasphemous it was fun to write... anywho, I really enjoy your rhyming. You have a way at doing it without force which is very refreshing. The flow in this one seemed a little jarred at times, but for the most part you have a very distinct and patterned flow to your writing. With music being my background i am big on flow... when i read poetry i find the beat and go with it... yours is quite good.
Keep writing, you are quite talented (i've read all you've posted thus far, just haven't commented on all though i probably will at some point).
