The door opened to the Starbucks
and in strolled a stunning sight,
a young man dressed in white,
Adonis with blonde hair and blue eyes,
toting a bible and shouting,
“Praise the Lord.”
He passed out gospel tracts,
shook everyone’s hand,
purchasing a latte,
before sitting down at a booth
across from a middle aged man
clad in jeans and matching blue shirt.
“Greeting brother,
heaven’s blessings I wish upon you,”
did the one in ivory say,
“Reverend Lucifer Thuban,
bringing the gospel your way.”
“I know,” the elder replied,
sipping his coffee,
“name is J. Hovah,”
his orbs so calm,
face silently stern,
yet still appearing dignified.
“Been a joyous harvest this week,
a dozen souls I was able to claim.”
“I’m sure you’ll cherish every name.”
“So very true, I do love my work.”
“How sad it is only temporary,”
the older one said in an ominous tone.
The dazzle in the blue-eyed gaze
dimmed from those words,
wincing when sipped his coffee
for it tasted like brimstone
as his companion winked.

I always knew Starbucks was a bad, bad place, haha.
I loved reading this, your descriptions were amazing and your characters were too. I could see this in full motion. I'm very lucky to have stopped by and read this.
