This Way Of Nature's Thirsty Tempest

Missing image
Between the shadows of the rolling thunder,

the wrap of weather whispers wonder
in times of touch,
so soon to swallow,
intrepid lips, the brave might follow.

I have ached for flower,

tethered open wind,
as inclement crystal embracing sunshine,

the unsaid hold of arms,
less traveled,

unraveled wisp of moon's first cusp,
when crescent pours to filling chalice
and yellow weaves through rippled palace,

man and maid
in one firm statement,
this way of Nature's thirsty tempest.

Without the words of too much mindset,

I crave to know you like a candle,
when light might dance away from handle,
until the rush of peace consumes us.

Then you might know that I am holy,

and I, that you are such an angel,
living feathered love,
together,

as we consume our rain soaked splashes.

    Two thumbs up

I am absoultely awe struck! This was so beautiful, and it reminds me of a very wonderful kiss in the rain that I will never forget.

"unraveled wisp of moon's first cusp,
when crescent pours to filling chalice
and yellow weaves through rippled palace,"

...there are no words to express how much I love this stanza. I am in love with this poem, and I wish I could find a better way to express that lol. Great great write.
