The ones who choose to express
and deal
and bask in the humor
of being onstage.
The four boys
my pride and joy
and the townspeople
with character and wit
make my day...
make me forget what is tearing me apart.
Seeing them happy,
seeing them smile at me
or wave
or whatever
just lessens the pain
bit by bit....
like a singing medicine
in a package of laughs
the Music Man cast.
