As the Pharoh once said,
Ammit, stay away!
For when Anubis embalms me,
I'd rather live forever.
Bastet and her feline head,
We built the Sphinx today.
Across the Nile, one could see,
The stone sculpted endeavour.
An ephemeral dream,
Lasting only for a short time.
While Sekhmet shines her light,
Isis weaves her magical spell.
As the sun's gleams,
Beat down on the pantomime,
Pyramids built with might,
Until the Pharohs fell.
With the breathtaking awe,
The pyramids still stand.
So take a trip,
To the land...
Known as Egypt where the Pharoahs once ruled....

Ammit is who eats your soul in the after life if your heart weighs more than the Goddess Ma'at's feather. Bastet or Bast, is the goddess of cats.
