Buttons

I really love ya, baby...
Yes, you know I really do.
But why do you push my buttons
When it's a thing you shouldn't do?

Like the time you pushed the red one
Knowing it would make me steam,
Then you went and pushed the green
Knowing that I'd let go a scream!

There are times I like the blue one pushed,
Or the orange one with the dial.
But you know that little pinkish one
Will really drive me wild.

The purple button makes me angry,
The yellow one makes me sigh,
The magenta one starts my PMS,
The black one makes me cry.

I have these many buttons,
That should be pushed --- or not.
By this time you should be knowing,
Don't claim that you've forgot.

So watch out what you say,
And then watch out what you do,
For when you push my buttons
I may shriek or go askew.

Walk carefully around my door,
You'd better tiptoe by my room.
One touch from these fine buttons
Can spell your living doom.

    OMG! I love this!!!

You rhyme like I wish I could! I have this thing for poetry that rhymes; in my opinion, it just flows better.

This is really just a cute poem. Everyone has buttons, and everyone should know better than to press the wrong button more than once. Surely by the little pinkish one you don't mean....? XD
Anyways, I love it Very creative, very unique, and overall, very well done.

now isnt that the truth, people who know each other really should know which buttons are safe to push and when, but they usually choose the wrong one at the wrong time, sometimes just to see the chaos they can start...fun fun fun....
i enjoyed it, it flowed nicely. thanks for sharing

    Great write. I loved it.

"So watch out what you say,

I know the feeling. Sometimes the smallest thing will set me off. There are also times when my buttons are hard to find, but when you hit them...oh, man...you'd better be careful.
