Little specs of dust
Land souly in my eye
The world is far below me
As I begin to fly
The Clouds are all now melting
Even though the sun has gone away
The lives they lead below us
All seem to fade to gray
Little child screaming
In his blissful play
Up in the childrens playground
Where I used to spend my days
Unaware of who knows who
And who knows best
Living for the moment
Life without regret
Silver toys
Sticks and stones
Quickly turn to guns
Sniping for our enemys
By 12 I have a gun
Verbal battles
Pushing down stairs
The beaten and bullied
When only I was there
The crying and the sobbing
With self inflicted pain
If only I paid attention
and "Stayed the hell away"
Symphony of adolescent wars
People spreading shit
About your father owning whores
They never seem to grow out
Of their childish ways
A teenage life is like learning ballet
Theres always alot of people
Making you out to be gay
Little specs of dust
Now starting to give me a sty
The world is far below me
So let me carry on to fly
Author notes
Naaaa, I never did ballet, but I could use that because if you were a teenage boy who did ballet, everyone would think you are gay haha

"Land souly in my eye" <-- should be 'solely'
This was well written, and I enjoyed reading I think you caught the rougher sides of teen peer pressure very well - particularly in today's world when it's a lot more violent, and bad language based than it was even just ten years ago!
Thanks for entering this - such a good description of the world we live in today

this was good
teenage years i think are by far the hardest years especially in theses time of violence.i take your last two lines to mean you've outgrown childish things. if so i applaud you because that can also be hard when facing peer pressure.writing is a wonderful outlet and you do it well.thanks for the poem, continue writing.
