She'll never understand

She'll never understand,
That what she's doing isnt right,
She'll never understand,
Why he can't stay the night.

We can all see what he's doing to her,
All the lies and all the hurt,
Six months it has been,
Since she was last seen,
He's probably locked her in,
And thrown away the key,
It started just a hate for me.

She's got no life and no friends,
We leave messages on her phone,
She never returns them,
And he says she's never home.

It's got to the stage,
Where all we can do is give up,
Honestly I've had enough.

There have been nights,
Where I have cried,
where I don't want to give up,
But it's too late to try.

I guess even if you phoned me now,
After everything,
I'd come around,
so pick up the phone and make that call,
Maybe we can end it all.

Author notes

I guess still. Six months on. I want her back.
Best friends before boyfriends ♥
