When I met you in the street
The rain was bouncing round my feet
You embraced me with a smile
I felt those feelings all the while
The ones you get when heart is racing
And sensations interlacing
Over the moon, walking on air
Bouncing, flying, not a care
Now I cannot let you go
And my being loves you so
You fill my heart with warmth and sun
Though down the hill the rain doth run
My heart is souring, reaching high
I want to shout the reason why
Though it’s raining I feel dry
I look at you and breathe a sigh
