Today we'll make life's pledge of unity
Our future together begins anew
My heart you have conquered, you have the key
As we journey life's paths dreams we pursue.
Our lives together are just beginning
The hurdles many, yet our bonds are strong
As this day unfolds my heart is spinning
Yet both us chosen where we belong.
And so I wait as butterflies flutter
In brief expectation you may not show
I await, those special vows to utter
Fine threads of a tapestry we shall sew.
In tentative steps I become your bride
I am blessed by angels deep down inside

a good formed poem - yay! that means there is going to be cake. wedding cake, and booze! sounds good to me, a toast to the bride and doom, i mean groom.

The narrator has taken the reader through images time designates for a couple where one life ends and two join to carry a joy filling each. The form compliments the nature of the poem. This is clear well defined and moving. Thank you for your entry in our contest. Good to you
