Death, they say
will take everyone away...

Death isn’t kind , 
death isn’t fair.
Death doesn’t think of you, 
death doesn’t care.

Although...

Death shall not remove your laugh which still rings in my ears
Death shall not erase your face with your smiles and your tears

Death shall not take away all those years

Death shall not cut off those endless walks
Death shall not wipe out those honest talks

I wish i could just turn back time,
back to the memories we shared together
just to hear your voice one last time
to have one last hug that brings that warm feeling inside ...

well, 
who am i fooling
death hasn't taken everything from me
since it has taken you...Cry

    i'm confused, you say at the end 'death HASN'T taken everything from me since it has taken you -

    i feel like that should read death HAS, even tough your poem insinuates that you still have your memories .. i don't know, there's something about the last lines that just didn't sit right.

    but i loved this. off to the finalist list we go

    i can totaly relate to this poem. "I wish i could just turn back time, back to the memories we shared together, just to hear your voice one last time to have one last hug that brings that warm feeling in side." I say that every night to the love of my life that passed away. i miss him very much! i miss his touch! Hey u can used that in a poem! lol. well good poem i love it.. add 10 million more applauds!
