How those children played in bygone days
for all their costumes did amaze
Childhood imagination did play a role
being a scouting Indian out on patrol
Do you know the child behind the mask?
keeping a secret identity was his task
We would ride along without a horse
slapping of thighs, always with full force
Hi ho silver and away we went
for me and Tonto did not circumvent
P.S I WONDER WHAT TONTO IS UP TO THESE DAYS
I MUST GIVE HIM A RING

We used hockey sticks for our horse sometimes, lol
But the slapping of thighs brings back so many memories. When you talk to Tonto, tell him I said "How"
Well done. -
Oh I love this, and its sucha refreshing topic too, its wonderful, i made a hobby horse from a sock, stuffed with paper, and stuck on a broomstick, instead of just slapping my thigh, thats progress for you. lol
