I was stupid
I actaully thought I had a chance
that you would finally let her go
and take me in
I thought we had a connection
I felt it
since the first time we met-
did you not?
it's been months-
almost a year
and she's moved on
why don't you?
she's got better friends
new boyfriends
and still you've got only your life-
just minus her
forgive me for being harsh-
the truth is like that
and the truth is
I don't want you-
not when you're broken
and still living in the past
go for her
you're both just corrupted enough
to make it work out
just perfectly

Gah, I love it, I sense a twisted and confused state of mind, probably from both of you, kinda-sorta feel like you two question love, when you question your love for someone else.... That is truly what causes curruption, Good Work

Thanks. I can relate to this in the way that I hate it when people say these kind of things to me. I've had experiences in the past where my friends and family tell me what I should do in a relationship. I think it's very difficult to give relationship advice without being in the relationship yourself.

Well i get what you mean by the comment you left on my poem.
This sounds like just about the same situation except maybe your's is a little farther down the road.
either way. good job, some of the best poetry comes from the heart when your emotions become too much to contain. Even with the lack of trying, the poem turned out great.
