Mountain Beauty

Sunrise

The energy of the mountain dances in the sunlight

awaiting the beauty of the day.

Morning Mist

The Heavens covered the earth with a blanket of mist

to bring a touch of Heaven's love and warm the earth below.

Morning Sky

As the blanket rose back to the heavens,

it covered all the sky and hid the

morning sun.

Mountain Range

The blanket rose and disppeared as the

sun  warmed up the earth,

exposing the heart of the

mountain range below.

Mountain Range

The shadows changed as the day

progressed, changing the

rhythm of the mountain and

with each look it's beauty changed.

Sunset

The day ended in majestic beauty

as the energy of the mountain

danced from tree to tree.

Wow. I should just point out, I'm very jealous. That is some view! This is a great write, and I can feel your appreciation. I'm glad that you can still appreciate after seeing it so often. This is a great piece of poetry, and I love the way you've interspersed it with pictures. This is a great piece.

    Stunningly and remarkably beautiful!

Beauty is just there for us to sit back and observe/enjoy. Thank you very much for sharing this exquisite view from your porch. It is astounding how the beauty changes in it's expression from moment to moment. Only the eyes of the artist/poet truly sees and appreciates it. We attempt to capture it as best we can; and you did an amazing job here through your great photos and words. Karen

P.S. It does look like somewhere in California - where I live also.

From the pictures, I would say you live in one of California's valleys?

    Your pictures are beautiful.

Hard to imagine that eventually those mountains will be eroded, providing the plains with top soil or particles of dust, blowing around the planet with the winds.

    Thanks for entering my contest.
