She's afraid to shed a tear
For fear that they won't
Stop raining down on the ground.

She screams to herself,
Her face buried to muffle the sound.
She waked up to no one around.

Walking through the hallway,
Everyone snickers and stares.
What happened now for all the glares?

Now she doesn't believe in love.
She made her way through the door,
Searching a reason worth living for.

Though no one sees the trouble she's in,
She's determined to call her own bluff,
That her secrets are merely enough.
