How does one keep a paper doll from rust?
whatever became of her paper clothes and such?
We had so much fun primping and priming
down to those little paper shoes aligning.
And, we'll forever remember the bitsy oven
those rounded cakes made for good lovin'
Those songs we sung and made up dances
now days the kids have made many 'advances'
But just how far have they really come today?
More advanced, yes, back then it was simple play.
Simple made up tunes and fun loving melodies
now one must have the piano tuned by set degrees.
There's no more free flow and fancy glow
we've come too far, nothing left to know?
Back then it was paper moons and paper fun
How can some return where others come from?

I still have paper dolls, and the clothes, my granddaughters wanted nothing to do with them.
Shame, I played for hours.
Wonderful rhyme.
Thank you for the lovely memories.
Well Done.
