In the shadows of night
we can hide away from the world
that would rather
we be torn apart

The moonlight washes
us over
and we are alone
in eachothers arms

I sigh into your shoulder
as you hold me closer
and make promises to always love me
and hold me forever

Amazed by you
and never wanting to let you go
I know that I have to
So I'm left longing for that Midnight Kiss

    You wrote this so magically, yet with a tinge of bitter sweet memory running through it, and indeed I'm sure most of us have one that we 'let get away' and regret it ever since!
