with complete understanding
decibel leaves,
chattering of thoughts silenced;
light terminating
groping in darkness.
pitcher filled to brim
has no space to sound bustle;
enlightened sees everything in himself,
he in all things.
when ego sublimate
where did he place himself,
see others,
small and big are alike
without self,
shade of a tree
and fragrance of a flower,
do not await
for that lone visitor,
to bestow their bounty.

Like a tree laden with ripe fruits bends naturally, so do gentle people display all the more humility when blessed with abundance.

thank you so much for sharing the fruit of insight and wisdom through your deeply impressive message ... impressive in the sense of capturing the essence of the prompt and translating it into simple words of powerful impact and colorful metaphors that strike the center of the target right away ...
for one who believes to be "somebody" (a body-mind-organism) and takes him(her)self for the actor of his (her) actions, the virtue of humility exists ...
but for "nobody" - one who has detached from identification with individual ego-mind, humility is not even an option, for where can this guna (quality) manifest if there is no-body, no-thing, no-self ?
such a being, one with all, one within all, all within one, applies no laws of measure anymore, no comparison, no judgment ... pleasure and pain, praise and blame, beggar and sage are all realized as pure consciousness impermanently manifested through divine leela (play) ...
I love the last stanza, where you remind us of the attitude of "non-intention" so well expressed through the example of the flower and the tree who don't choose the receptors of their abundance based on merits or choice ...
I feel that your elaboration on this prompt goes far beyond ordinary understanding obeying laws of cause and effect, but springs from the source of all laws, into which all laws dissolve once complete understanding, as you express it, has been achieved ... yet this understanding is beyond understanding, beyond the pitcher of the conditioned mind with which we so readily identify ...
honestly, I am very happy and feel very honored to see your participation in this contest, for you have the gift to make our clouds of illusion burst in a simple but powerful manner ...
thank you,
marion
