Beachside eyes and longing deserted cries.

I知 sweeping the streets in hope you値l sweep me off my feet.
My hair is whipping my face and the wind is brutally hitting my cheeks.
My lips are chapped and my eyes are bleeding hurt.
My feet found my way to the fading sun stroked beach.
Shards of light blend into the golden sand which blows like ashes.

My heart takes a leap from my chest,
It lays on the ground and begs for help.
But I cannot seem to save it.
My chest is burning with blood and I知 crying in agony.
Bittersweet sulphur evades my mouth.
I swallow my pain with the pills in my pocket but they reek like acid.

I flinch in the cold bursts of air,
Shivering, my arms wrap unconsciously across my trembling torso.
I want someone else痴 embrace to warm me, not just my futile limbs.
Please, someone take me home.
The beach is roaring with the same sorrow as my soul.

And I知 sitting alone again, building sandcastles out of hope.
The walls are concreted with damp foundations,
Only to have gushing waves crush the barriers.
And I feel like a metaphorical mess.

The gleaming sun is dimming all to fast.
I知 left alone with desensitized fear colliding with stale mascara dreams.

I知 sweeping the streets in hope you値l sweep me off my feet.
But I can稚 find you anywhere in these ghost town streets.
