A Poem For A Poet

There once was a boy,
who had shaggy hair.
his name was Joseph Sparks,
and little children, he did scare.

he can think outside the box,
so he writes a mean poem.
about people, places, and things,
but there's much more to tell so umm......

he loves to read,
you can say he's a book-lover.
but when he loans out a book,
he says "don't rip the cover."

Maegan is his buddy,
while at his locker.
when she declines his gum,
he tells her "i just thought i'd offer"

Joseph's pretty cool,
and he likes to wear shorts.
he listens to skillet,
and doesn't like sports.

he's really sarcastic,
and a fun-loving guy.
but when he makes jokes,
we all want to....never mind.

he's a really great guy,
we wouldn't trade him for anyone.
we can't think of anything else to say,
so this poem is done.
