Christ

Christ as my psychiatrist
Christ as my witness
Christ as my driver,
Christ my chauffeur

Christ as my father
Christ my Father
Christ as the man who
walks with me down the road

Christ as a bird
in the cage
Christ the dove
Christ as an empty tomb
Christ up above

Christos, an electric wire
Christ as my robe
Christ as my palm-crease
Christ between my toes

I've got Christ on my lips and
Christ, you know it ain't easy
but with Christ as my psychiatrist
I don't feel half as uneasy.
