That song apprises something wretched deep inside.
A thousand memories engraved, hidden below the surface.
The only part of me that feels completely right.
A part of me that feels so alive.
The sudden fire that surges through my veins
Burns an addiction, an obsession well-masked.
It uproots the emotions I forgot I could feel,
Igniting a longing to once more relive those days.
Scorched through the core with reminiscent dawn
A smile sparks, a moment of complete bliss.
I wish I could contain the incandescence forever,
But past defeats me, those days are long gone.
