Sunset Wild was my red beta fish who was the smartest fish in the world. i taught him to play Eye Spy, and i would think of something while he would touch things with his nose to ask if it was it. he was really smart, and i loved him (even if i kinda sometimes forgot to clean his tank and hated doing it.) then one day i discovered something; Sunset had a tumor on his eye. at least that's what i thought. he stopped swimming to the top of the tank to eat his food, and then he just lay on the fake seaweed. the tumor looked like a huge bubble on his eye, and i was scared he was going to die. but he survived. that's when i named him Survivor.
i thought then the worst was over. but the worst was yet to come. a month later, i saw some white spots on his scales. he had white spot disease. white spot disease is when bacteria (the white spots) attaches to the fish's scales and then grows bigger and more and more attaches. then they rips of leaving wounds that get infected and kill the fish ()
i tried to give him treatment, but he died before i could. the poem above is dedicated to him.

    A touching poem, dear niece..Reading your authors' notes explains in such a painful way how Survivor died....This poem has such potential for moving the readers as it is not like any other...about your dear pet fish! write..luv...So heartfelt! Aunty

    wow. i had a gold fish named blackie. and he had a 'tumor
    which actually turned out to be a fungus boil... im betting ur fish died because of that too... rip survivor+blackie...

      well, he survived the 'tumor' (hence his name, Survivor) but then he got white spot disease. he died from that
