My life is interfering with my life
a reality check, karma has bit me,
I think that you can teach an old
dog a new trick.
Society has thrown me a bone,
I chewed it up and swallowed it
I thought it was a treat,
and quickly found out it was a trick.
Now, I am addicted to the treats,
and if I don't begin to toss them back
then I will also be throwing bones,
and society will chew me up and spit me out.
Author notes
I never thought it could happen to me. But it has, and I am sinking. I don't know what else to say.
