Seeing that you are my 'eyes'
without you I cannot see.
Knowing that you are my life
I cease from the sin of strife.
I reckon that to view one
one should use proper visionary tools
I also conclude that no tools
of mine will grasp you.
So, in the interim of all this
I just need you and you alone
You, to make my path clear
You, to ravage my every fear.
In the midnights of my life
when the darkness lingers
I'll not find a doubt to foster
I'll look only for your visionary cues.
For I reckon that you're the 'way'
and...if I can just get in the way
I'll make it clear through everything

This piece is very vivid in sight and sound, clearly leading to the Light that allows us to see and hear the Almighty Lord and His Christ. You also bring it down to earth; after all, Christ doesn't like fancy prayers meant only to impress those around the one speaking. Very well done, Sistah!
