He is

an orchid petal with delicate veins

fluttering in early morning light

a cooing infant who suddenly sneezes

to an adoring mother’s surprise

golden plains of summer wheat

swaying in a lazy breeze

the faint whisper of coming autumn

through rustling leaves

somber moments that envelope souls

as they shed bitter tears of grief.
