The raindrop falls
and kisses my skin.
It leaves a damp
feeling on the spot
it planted itself.
Then the tender drop slides away.

Interesting....
Short, concise and yet - there was something meaningful I liked about this;
When it rains, so many droplets of water land upon us but we just brush them off and never really [think] about them -
Intriuging write you have here! Thanks for entering

Raindrops fall and kiss my skin,
Touching my heart, deep within.
Showering sensation over my face,
Leaving me glowing, touched by grace.
Sorry if my version of your poem is off the mark but I loved yours so much I had to respond in kind xx

The comments below said it best!
A simple raindrop can be so significant. Just as a kiss or the drop of love! Great sweet and simple work, my friend.

This words made me feel a soft kiss from heaven dear heart...blessings.

-
softly you convey the drop of love as well. It touches us, and then softly, slowly glides away if it isn`t watered, feed and cared for.
