When Security Dies

When Security Dies

I can’t promise that this will last.  But, I can promise that my thoughts about you will never pass.  No assurance is reliable but this testimony is unconditional.  No, swear can clutch this certainty, which tells me I love you.  But this security is gone.. and I think I lost you.


When security dies,
Hope will never fly.
Love drifts away,
And the day never fades away.
Minutes turn to hours,
And hours into days.
Years turn into endless countdowns,
And worries becomes happy days.
The suniness in the clouds drifts away.


I can’t promise the late nights we shared.  I can’t promise to care.  Why should I be there, when security dares?  How can I make this life any better?  Should I just keep this to myself, wait until this dies in its cell?
But this security is scares and I know I lost you.
