A brush, soft lips, a tease,
your whisper in my ear.
I sense your bold presence,
I feel that you are near.
I take all that you give me,
and yet, I offer less.
A kiss I leave for you,
but my body, you caress.
I twist, you turn, enraptured,
again we're intertwined.
I've fought so hard against it,
but you're deep inside my mind.
trailing flesh across my soul,
you fingers lead your lips.
And I'd be so lost without you,
not at my fingertips.
You are a force that steadies me,
my strength against the wind.
I'd fall apart wanting you,
my life and breath, rescind.
Upon my death of broken heart,
they'd search e'er for the hints.
And on my heart, once in your hands,
they'd find your fingerprints.
