Burn.

     Glory on high,

  all withers to fire!

     Praise Him,

  for He alone

    melts rocks buried in flesh!

 Let our rocks cry out,

   "I am a heart!

     I now love!"

 -and let everything we love

burn.

    Let ashes scatter

farther than we'll run after.

   May we pity ourselves

and our loves,

  as God through His grace

pities us.

  Burn, my loves, burn.

This image was terrifying; to see the flames reflected in the eye -

and what a powerful inspiration of words linked together, prompted by passion and muse - wonderfully done.

    thanks for entering

wow very harsh yet glorifying in the highest power. the way you brought god and fire together was just powerful. the last lines had a very Sweeney Todd feel to them ( love that movie and loved the line) great work
