Angel of the Garden whose glittering form I see,
in the twinkling of an eye.
You who come to dwell in our humble garden
A small piece of paradise.
I welcome you with open heart.
You tread the grass at eventide, when man and beast lay sleeping.
Your Angelic feet of noble creation,
walk humbly amongst our treasures.
Flowers bow their beautiful heads in simple adoration.
Your fingers touch and with petals blest,
they smile,
and with a simple prayer sing their song of jubilation.
At dawn when the new day blossoms and the world once more awakes,
I see the footsteps at the garden gate,
Where the Angel of the Garden abides,
Gaurding in sweet humility.
