Thank You

I have come to know that I am human.
I'm worth something as who and what I am.
At the right time it took a simple word.
It was freely given, no thought occured.
I never knew such passion existed
or to have this caring continue on.
Ending this relationship untwisted.
Not fearing the reasons that moved you on.
Seems to me, thank you are words far too poor
to express all going on inside me
and the things about you I'm grateful for.
Including those you think I shouldn't be

    Welcome to Allpoetry

    Hello Nicholas,

I think that this is nicely done. I do have a few suggestions, you end a lot of the lines with a period.. the end of a line shows a pause, so if you use periods, I dont think they need to be used so often.

There were some unanswered questions, what is it that was said, the "simple word" that was so beautiful that it inspired you to write about it? And what are some of the things that they think you shouldnt be grateful for?

    Bravo Poet,
